Sea Village 1-203

Great location overlooking the ocean it was so close with great views of the bay and open ocean with cruise ships coming in the odd time. Real close to downtown to walk 1.2 kms for dinner or drinks. Easy access to drive out from to do other site seeing. The ocean surf can be loud but its ocean surf and part of the full experience. The bbq and pool area very well maintained and great place to see the sun while bbqing. The condo itself was well provided for in decor and kitchen ware.

Really enjoyed the stay. Great location. Beautiful common area. I suggest updating the photo array on VRBO. Furnishings were not what was shown on the web site. Otherwise, we had a very good experience.

This condo sits above the waves in a beautiful bay where whale sightings are not unusual. The exterior property is well maintained. We did not have insects at all which is always a challenge in this climate. The staff were responsive and anticipated needs. It was a nice touch to find ice made and a couple of cold sodas in the refrigerator upon our arrival.
The interior of the condo was immaculate! The only downside to this property is the livingroom has a hide-a-bed couch and only one chair for sitting. We like our evenings ‘comfy’. For many visitors who spend little time in their accommodation it would not be an issue. The condo has air conditioners, but they were noisy. We chose to use the overhead fans which worked for us to stay cool.

My wife and I had a great time and great accommodations at Sea Village. The view from the lanai was spectacular. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed, and the place was very clean. We’re strongly considering booking it for next year.

This wonderful suite is in an immaculately maintained waterfront condo complex within walking distance of town. Suite 1-203 is waterfront with a stunning view up to Kailua Village and the open ocean. The condo is very well appointed. The kitchen has everything for one to prepare meals. The new sofa bed is very comfortable and easy to set up.

We really like this unit.

The location is perfect, quiet, close to town and restaurants, beautiful view of the bay. Beach accessories in the closet were a bonus. Mattress does need updated, sunken and soft. Would stay here again.

The view was very nice. I was surprised that this rental was run down and in need of updating. The tile in the bathroom needs to be repaired before it causes a leak in the lower unit.
The floor needs a good clean. The patio door track looks very dirty. The wall needs to be repaired.
The bedroom air conditioner needs to be replaced. It doesn’t get the room cool.
I would recommend painting the ceiling and walls, because it’s in bad shape.
I was very happy the real estate company came out fast to address an issue with the tv.
If they would paint, repair and clean it would be a very nice place to stay.

I’ve traveled extensively and this is one of the best places I’ve stayed for the price. Communication from the owners was excellent. The view is even more incredible in person. The unit was very clean, bed was comfy, and everything you could think of was provided. The grounds were beautiful and quiet at night. My only small complaint is about the air conditioner. The place got uncomfortably warm in the afternoons and the two room units weren’t enough without running them a lot, which I didn’t want to be charged extra for. Other than that, and despite that, I would absolutely stay here again!

The view from the deck of this property, is worth the price of admission. Everything was clean and well put together. The property was also stocked with everything you would need.

The picnic and grill area was immaculate, and the pool was lovely. Location was also great.

The only negative is the property could use a new mattress, and the couch was a bitt uncomfortable. But we got by just fine!

Kona was nice, but if we came back to the Big Island, I think we would likely stay on another part of the island. It's all about the vibe you are looking for!

We loved our stay in this perfectly located, oceanfront property! The property complex was welcoming and quiet. Sitting on the balcony listening to the waves was one of our favorite things to do. We saw dolphins and whales daily. The King bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. The furniture is a bit outdated in the living room but the recliner chairs were comfortable to sit in. Overall, a very positive experience and we hope to be back soon!!!

We loved our stay in Kona!! The vacation rental was so much better than expected!! It met all expectations and more!!! It was perfect!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Can’t beat the view and crashing waves. Condo is very well equipped and well located for access to Kona. Only negatives are that it could use some updating such as balcony door and that it’s a wooden building so you hear footsteps from upstairs.

Clean, well equipped condo right on the ocean. Listen to the waves crash in the Livingroom, peace and quiet in the bedroom.

15 min walk into town.

We love doing our rentals through Kona Vacation rentals. We also love the location of the unit and it is very clean BUT the furniture is old and dirty/worn out. The lanai sliding door/screen is in need of replacement as well.

The condo is in a great location! You feel like you are on top of the water, you basically are! Each morning we watched colorful tropical fish swimming along the rocky shoreline below. The place was very well stocked with everything we needed. It was also very clean. The King size bed was very comfortable as well.

Highly recommend. The description was exactly what I was expecting. Close to a very a nice coffee stand and easy to walk to town. Very quiet and enjoyable. Will definitely be back.

The condo we rented at Sea Village (Unit 1-203) in Kona was absolutely wonderful! We were on the second floor and our balcony/lanai was truly oceanfront with the waves crashing just below us. We watched surfers and had our morning meals out there every day, as well as making sure we were there in time to watch the sunset each evening. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the ease of having a coded entry. The pool and jacuzzi were a welcome refresh at the end of the day.

The property description was accurate from the website. It was clean and well stocked. The grounds were clean and well maintained. We loved the location and our view was fantastic!

Very nice, reasonably furnished & equipped, and fairly priced 1-bedroom oceanfront condo. Pool, hot tub, gas grilles all available. Longish walk downtown. AC in living room and bedroom are effective, but noisy - but that masks talkative guests and kids on stairs and landing immediately outside the bedroom. Lanai is lovely, especially in the morning. Only a poor too soft mattress in serious need of replacement keeps me from giving it 5-stars across the board. If you have any back issues be aware. If that were resolved, we would highly recommend this unit.

We had a wonderful stay here. The unit was very clean, the beds comfy, even the pillows! The view was AMAZING and there is a great little coffee place at the front entrance to the property at reasonable prices! Highly recommend!

We had a great vacation in this condo. First of all, the location is excellent! If you love the sound of ocean waves, this is the place for you. 24/7, the sound of the ocean just outside the lanai.
We've done a number of rentals before and this one was exceptionally well-equipped. Due to COVID, we ate many of our meals at home. The kitchen had plenty of pans, dishes, cooking utensils, etc. There were even some basics like spices and cooking spray. The complex's gas grills are just steps away, so we utilized those a couple nights. The pool is also very convenient to this unit.
About the only negative comment I'd have is that the sofa in the living room sags toward the middle, making it a bit uncomfortable for two people to share. We would definitely stay here in the future.

Absolutely perfect location and beautiful views from the moment you open the door. This was our first time using Vrbo and we were impressed. The unit we stayed in was the best spot in the complex. Pool view, ocean view, near bbq and parking.

Unbeatable location with breathtaking view overlooking the ocean. Falling asleep and waking up to crashing waves was exactly what we wanted. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Had all the basic amenities we needed (coffee grinder was broken but we just went and bought ground coffee) including all beach and snorkeling gear. Great grounds with well equipped barbecue area where we grilled local fish and grass fed beef purchased at nearby grocery store. All others staying here were friendly and respectful of the quiet hour rules. Would absolutely stay here again!

Loved this condo! Gorgeous view, nice condo, snorkeling equipment, even air conditioning (which a lot of places don't have here). Perfect location. Check-in/out automated. Management not really responsive while we were there, but that was not a big deal.

The two of us stayed at Sea Village 1-203 from April 1st to April 5, 2020 during the Corona Virus scare.
The condo had everything we needed for a great stay. Including sand chairs for the beach, boogie boards, snorkel gear and ice chests of a couple different sizes. The condo was clean and the kitchen well-stocked with spices and minor stuff you need to cook efficiently. The king-size bed was comfortable and we fell asleep listening waves crashing on the rocks right outside the living room as this place is right over the shore.

We are annual visitors to this location, which is ideal for 2 people. Pull out bed available for short time guest. Wonderful ocean front view.
0ne bureau is now inside a locked closet, so storage is limited, otherwise 5 stars.

The unit and views were exactly how I anticipated. It looked just like the pictures. The view from the lanai is unbelievable and we liked the sounds of the ocean as well. The unit was very clean and it was a perfect size for the two of us.

It is very close to town and there’s even a little coffee shop that’s adjacent to the property. They have great coffee and sandwiches as well.

The host answered the emails I sent in a timely manner (had issues figuring out the remotes).

I would definitely rent this unit again if I were to return to the Big Island.

The entire process was easy from reservation to check in. The condo was just as described and the pictures were exactly the view we had on arrival. Very pleasant host. Lots of beach activity gear available. Well stocked unit with everything needed to start out. Very happy with our selection and would stay again in the future.

This vacation rental is in a perfect location with a stunning view. We had breakfast and dinner every night on the patio overlooking the water and watching the sunset while we ate dinner. The rental is extremely clean and very well stocked with kitchen utensils. There is a grocery store 1 1/2 miles away. There are beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear , towels etc. for your use. The rental was very quiet- we just enjoyed the sound of the ocean. We will definitely return .

hands down one of the best vacation units i'v rented, the ocean crashing just out the window was amazing, the location is close to a lot of things on the island, the unit is very clean and not outdated at all, key-less entry door and a nice kitchen too, would definitely stay here again, does not compare to any other place i'v rented in the big island or Maui

This is your place is you love being practically on the ocean! The lanai sits out right over the waves below and the sound of the ocean lulls you to sleep. Super clean with everything you need to enjoy the Big island of Hawaii. Gorgeous sunsets every night to enjoy as you reflect on the beauty around you and another day in paradise.

Condo was clean and newly remodeled. This condo has a great balcony view right on the ocean. All the conveniences, laundry,full kitchen,dishwasher, microwave, and AC.Beach towels and snorkel gear was also provided.

Weather could have been better, but Sea Village was as awesome as ever. The unit was great. There is now air conditioning in the bedroom. We turned it on about an hour before going to bed, and turned it off when we went to bed. It was perfect.

I'd rent this condo again in a heartbeat. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in terms of kitchen items, linens and beach gear. Washer/dryer. Location and ocean view were perfect and pool and spa area was clean and right next to the condo. I want to go back.

The disruption lasted the entire 30 days this year and the property manager could not have cared any less. We will look for another company to find us accomidations in the future. Couldnt have been happier with my time at Sea Village - the place had everything you needed both inside the room and out (lovely pool area, courtyard/bbq). And a very comfortable bed! Highly recommend.

Sea Village is a very well kept condo complex. Generally the people are very friendly that stay there. Our unit (#1-203)was clean, comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen. The ocean view from the unit is fabulous, and the location overall is great being very close to the pool and garden area.

Wow! What a wonderful place to spend our honeymoon. This condo is exactly as pictured and was immaculate upon arrival. The location is convenient to many things. It's an easy walk to a number of great restaurants.

The lanai is just as close to the water as pictured. With the doorwall open, you can hear the surf throughout the condo.

The kitchen is well equipped for anything you would like to prepare there. Although you have to carry your food down some stairs to use the gas grills, it's a friendly place to meet others who are cooking at the same time.

One reviewer griped that "if we used too much air conditioning, the bill was ours". I'd like to respond to that. The helpful notebook on the counter invites guests to use the air conditioning, but asks that you not leave doors and windows open when using, and that exorbitant use could result in an additional charge. I found this to be reasonable. Would you run your air conditioning at home with the doors and windows open?

We were comfortable all the time, as there are several ceiling fans, a tower fan in the bedroom, and also a stand fan. The only time we used the AC was our wedding day, in order to keep my bride's makeup and hair as fresh as possible while dressing for the wedding. The fans kept us quite comfortable.

We will DEFINITELY ask for this same unit the next time we go to the Big Island!

the island of kona was having the worst heat of the year;the condo was features as air conditioned in fact the caviot was if we used too much air the electric bill was ours.well arrival was at 10pm the inside air was about 90 and no air no fans and we slept in the Marriot court yard due to the heat.the MGR was not helpful and we would strongly recommend against using this or and Sunset propeety PLUS a total condo building was in the process of re construction no parking, hammering from 8am to 5 pm wall board dust on everything with a giant dumpster in front of the living space a true trip from ****.

Have stayed at SV for probably 25 years, and in 1203 at least 10. We come back because we like the location and its amenities. The owners of 1203 keep the unit updated and in good repair. That and the fact Mark and Joyce are just nice people have kept us coming back.

This is a nice, clean unit for a hawaiian vacation. From the lanai you can watch whales and dolphins and the waves crash against the rocks just below. Lounge chairs surround the pool which is handy as there is no beach acess on the property. Well kept grounds and picnic tables available by the gas grills. Only about a half mile walk to the shops & restaurants.

We had a great stay at Sea Village. The views, location and condo set up was ideal. Watching dolphins from the lanai was a morning ritual and swimming with turtles, manta rays and dolphins was the icing on the cake. Love Kona!
