This bungalow was perfect for our stay. We were minutes away from everything. Loralyn and her husband were a pleasure. We would definitely come back.
We needed a break from everything and recharge our batteries. We have been coming to the HI for a long time. The Big Island has always been our favorit. All we wanted to do was relax, sit on a beach, have a nice dinner, and un-wind. We were able to do that. The Bungalow is charming. We would recommend it to anyone.
This was truly one of the best guesthouses we've had stayed on our past trips during several years traveling through the States. the peace and quiet, friendly owners whome gave us lots of great tips of what to do and places to see,eat and beaches to explore. We hope that we can return to this beautiful island one time and that we still can stay in the Palm Bingalow again.
A paradise in Hawaiian paradise. Superb establishment, lots of hotels would learn a lesson or two from the owners how to run a vacation property. Highly recommend to anybody.
The Bungalo was perfect. It is in a beautiful neighborhood and the owners felt like old friends by the end of the week. By far the best place we have ever stayed and the best vacation we have ever taken. Hope to visit again soon!
Our eight days spent at Palm Bungalow were idyllic. Met at the gate by the property owners regardless of being delayed in arriving, we felt welcomed from the outset. The bungalow is an intimate setting for two people, beautifully located on a perfectly designed and maintained property. The pool and outdoor shower were welcome cool-downs after days of exploring the Island, and the lanai was very comfortable for peaceful relaxation, and for viewing the wide variety of birds, amazing vegetation and beautiful sunsets. The presence of the property owners was never intrusive, but also a valuable resource for input on local recommendations of sights, activities and restaurants. We appreciated every moment of our stay, and highly recommend the Palm Bungalow.
Amazing property with an outstanding host!
The cottage was lovely. Peaceful, quiet and just what we needed. All the beach equipment was available, the snorkel gear, chairs and mats were all outside the door and ready to be used. The hosts are great, furnishing a large plate of fruit and just the right amount of involvement on our vacation. Thanks to all
Palm Bungalow was a great choice for us. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and their ohana was clean and beautiful. We were a short walk from the ocean and a short ride to downtown. The grounds of the home were beautiful. The salt water swimming pool was perfect. You even have your choice of an indoor or outdoor shower. Sitting on our own front veranda for morning coffee and evening sunsets was great. We recommend highly recommend Palm Bungalow.
Off the beaten path - live as a local. Extremely well cared for property with every amenity provided. Hosts are on site with offer to help in any way, or to just leave you alone. Located in the city of Kailua with a 10-15 min walk to Alii Drive and shore access. Short drives to numerous restaurants, shopping, entertainment and tourist attractions. This is a great place to just relax, and also conveniently located as a home base to enjoy all the big island has to offer.
Amazing find! From the moment I arrived on the property, I felt right at home! Bungalow was beautifully decorated, great hot showers indoor and out, comfortable bed, small but functional kitchen, clean, grounds and location were awesome, NO traffic noise or loud neighbors. Steven, Laura Lynn and Evan made me feel like one of the family, hot tub and pool were a refreshing break, and if you get a chance, eat Laura Lynn's French toast! Will absolutely recommend it, and look forward to my next stay! Mahalo loa nui!
This is in a fantastic neighborhood. The property is amazing! The hosts are fun and friendly. We enjoyed learning about the local traditions, too.
Warm welcome. island breezes. well stocked refrigerator. gracious and friendly hosts. comfy bed. snorkeling and beach equipment provided. All it lacks is a closet and internet access. Really enjoyed our stay!
